Colin, What really happens with the Ouija?
One question I always get is what do you think happens when you use a Ouija board? Is it spirits? or are we sub consciously moving the planchette?
Recently at the Baltimore Museum of industry a display was set up and Ouija experts from around the globe got involved. Even the Australian made Edward Dunlop made it to the big screen. Below is a video that may help you decide on what make the Ouija work and will also show some great displays at the Museum.
What's a good timber to use?
Good afternoon Colin,
I’ve stumbled across your web site after a long time of being away from the good old Ouija Boards. I’m in awe of how many there out there, but few if any really take my interest.
Colin, I’m interested in having a board manufactured for myself by someone that is professional in the field and someone that you may know or trust to do a good job. Being in the industry I’m sure you know the best people all around the world.
Colin, I see there is a bigger style board on the market, the 601 from memory…..yes? Well, this would have to be the closest to the board Id like to have manufactured. I like the artwork and layout, but I’d like the board itself to be bigger. I have a real problem with the planchette being able to run off the board where the ‘Goodbye’ is located down the bottom. My preference would be to expand the dimensions of the board, keeping the original design and layout but to have enough room for the planchette to stay on the board when it reaches the ‘Goodbye’ and not have to run off onto the table.
Colin, if you know anyone that might be able to help, Id very much appreciate it. I’m hoping to be able to get someone with a laser to be able to etch the surface onto a nice piece of timber, which raises another question………..what would be a good ‘spiritual’ timber to use as a board…….not chipboard or pine, something that has some spiritual significance to it. regards Michael
